Quinta de Flandes

A PLACE OF HISTORY

Land of contrasts between
the mountains and the sea

Discover our roots, the best of gastronomy
and an unrivaled cultural heritage.

Flandes State

Quinta de Flandes was brought into the family over 550 years ago under a charter granted in 1437 by Prince Henry the Navigator, who pioneered the Portuguese discoveries.

With a prime location in the center of the country, the house is suitable for an assortment of events ranging from leisure activities to family vacations and friendly get-togethers.

The Quinta offers a combination of charm, tranquility and authenticity in the midst of a magnificent view of Serra do Sicó mountain that will be a delight to the eyes of any traveler.

Equally distant from the two main Portuguese airports (Lisbon and Oporto), Quinta de Flandes is a central spot for anyone wishing to enjoy the pleasures of nature, together with the cultural richness and excitement of a holiday abroad.

The house is located in between the symbolic cities of Fátima and Coimbra, just a few kilometres from the Figueira da Foz (casino and beaches), 15 km from Osso de Baleia and Vieira de Leiria beaches, 28 km from Ruínas de Conimbriga.
